Cosmetics Giant Cosmax Invests in New Smart Factory in Thailand: Expansion in Southeast Asia

Cosmax, a leading Korean cosmetic manufacturer, has announced the establishment of a new factory in Thailand's Bang Phli area to expand production capacity in Southeast Asia. The new facility, with an investment of 560 billion won, will be sustainable and technologically advanced, implementing eco-friendly systems like water waste reduction and recycling. Scheduled to begin operations by September 2026, the factory aims to triple the production capacity to meet growing demand in the ASEAN region, particularly Thailand's rapidly expanding cosmetics market, which is expected to reach $812 million this year. The factory will adhere to international quality standards, including ISO certifications and Halal and Vegan certifications, enhancing Cosmax's K-beauty platform role in the region.
