KIAF Seoul 2026 opened at COEX with a redesigned layout by first-time director Jung Gu-ho, creating clearer circulation routes, wider sightlines, and an active F&B “plaza” that encourages visitors to linger. Although the fair’s scale (175 galleries from 18 countries) is similar to before, reorganized space—black-carpeted main aisles, special exhibitions, rest areas, VR shows and generous booths—draws people into less-visited halls and highlights emerging artists rather than only blue-chip names. The F&B plaza in Hall B functions like a market-style square where visitors drink coffee and socialize, helping boost attendance and a younger, taste-driven collector base.
