“Israeli biotech and desert botanicals come to Korea: ‘Discover Israeli Beauty’ showcase

Six Israeli beauty and aesthetic brands showcased biotech-driven and desert plant-based products at the ‘Discover Israeli Beauty’ event held at the Israeli Ambassador’s residence in Seoul. Participants included regenerative biotech brand CellaV, scalp and hair care Herbalisté, skincare makers MAHUT and NEOX DERMACARE, dermocosmetic ONmacabim, and beauty device firm Pollogen. Exhibits featured exosome and radiofrequency (RF) technologies, skin barrier science, and cosmeceuticals using desert medicinal plants (plants traditionally used for healing in arid regions) as well as botanical hair care. A product trial zone allowed Korean retailers, buyers and influencers to test items and discuss partnerships with the Israeli trade delegation. Organizers highlighted Israel’s strengths—biotech research infrastructure, energy‑based device expertise, and unique plant resources from the Dead Sea and Judean Desert (Judean Wilderness)—and said collaboration with Korea’s market know‑how could create strong synergies.
