Lotte Chilsung Beverage has introduced bottled versions of its fruit carbonated alcohol brand Soonhari Jin: Soonhari Lemon Jin and Soonhari Grapefruit Jin. Previously sold in cans, the new 330ml glass bottles contain 9% ABV, use whole frozen-infused fruit to intensify aroma and flavor, and retain the zero-sugar feature. Packaging uses clear bottles with a silvery label mimicking ice crystals. The lemon variant offers a tangy lemon taste, while the grapefruit is sweet-bitter. The bottles will be sold mainly through restaurants and bars from early September. Since its May 2021 launch, Soonhari Jin has grown about 34% annually, and Lotte Chilsung’s RTD (ready-to-drink) alcohol sales rose 143.3% year-on-year in Q2, helping overall liquor sales increase. The company says the move expands consumer choice amid rising interest in fruit carbonated RTDs and signals continued trend-driven product development and marketing.
