Louis Vuitton marks the 130th anniversary of its Monogram by emphasizing its 'Care & Repair' services and the intergenerational craftsmanship that preserves products as lasting family heirlooms. Introduced by Georges Vuitton in 1896, the Monogram remains a signature of the brand. This year’s global campaign and pop-ups highlight five iconic styles (Keepall, Speedy, Alma, Noé, Neverfull) and promote the maison’s circular design philosophy: items are made to be repaired and passed down. The brand runs 11 repair workshops worldwide where trained artisans restore leather goods, shoes and trunks using specialized processes—such as the ‘Bag Spa’ for cleaning, polish and color restoration, and delicate care for exotic skins like crocodile (crocodile). Clients receive personalized consultations, and some services are bookable via a dedicated app in multiple countries. Repair teams handle about 600,000 items annually and the maison plans to expand services across all categories by 2030, positioning repair and longevity as a core sustainability and heritage strategy.
