Louis Vuitton launches eight new pieces in its Le Damier de Louis Vuitton fine jewelry line on September 18, extending the collection to over 30 designs. The range reinterprets the maison’s iconic Damier pattern (checked lattice pattern) in gold and diamonds, with each diamond hand-set using techniques like the four-grain setting. New items focus on earrings—now offered as larger hoop styles in yellow, white, and rose gold—and introduce two earcuff designs (single and double). The collection also adds a sliding-pendant necklace (allowing the central pendant to move along the chain), a delicate chain bracelet with a single Damier motif, and a wider link bracelet inspired by tennis bracelets that houses 120 diamonds (totaling 2.8 carats). Craftsmanship is emphasized throughout: gold surfaces are hand-polished for a mirror finish, links are individually assembled for a flexible fit, and subtle design details—such as diamond-set square end charms and seamless clasps—are highlighted to ensure comfort and refined aesthetics.
