Samuel Peter, general manager of Conrad Seoul (a five-star hotel in western Seoul), has been promoted to Hilton’s area general manager for Korea while remaining at Conrad Seoul. With 20 years in luxury hospitality across Asia — including previous roles at Hilton Hiroshima, Hilton Tokyo, and Hilton Singapore — Peter will now oversee Hilton’s brands across Korea, such as DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo and Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam. He will support hotel operations and growth, strengthen collaboration among properties, and focus on improving guest experiences and driving Hilton’s expansion in the Korean market. Peter said he aims to respect each hotel’s unique strengths while creating synergies by sharing expertise.
