Lotte Tour Offers Three Kingdoms-Themed Yangtze River Cruise with Expert Guide

Lotte Tour Development has launched a themed 6-night, 7-day “Yangtze Three Gorges River Cruise” that combines scenic river travel with guided history from a Three Kingdoms expert. The cruise departs from South Korea to Wuhan and boards in Chongqing for a 3-night, 4-day cruise to Yichang, visiting the famous Three Gorges (Qutang, Wu, Xiling) known for dramatic canyon scenery. Professor Lee Seong-won, a Three Kingdoms (Samgukji) historian from Chonnam National University, will accompany the November departures to provide on-board lectures and site explanations about the people, places and events depicted in the classic historical novel. Travelers will sail on the 15,000-ton luxury Century Cruise Victory ship with amenities like a spa, theater and gym. The package, priced at 3.09 million KRW, aims to attract history- and culture-minded tourists by blending immersive storytelling with river sightseeing.
