Chuncheon Ballet Company boosted the profile of regional ballet with two home performances at Chuncheon Culture and Arts Center, including the sold-out 'Bravo Figaro' on the 29th. Presented as part of a government program supporting regional arts troupes, the company also toured four Gangwon locations (Wonju, Taebaek, Inje, Gangneung) to reach culturally underserved areas. 'Bravo Figaro' — a ballet adaptation of the comic opera The Barber of Seville — centers on a bold female lead and comic rivalry between two men, mixing accessibility with artistic quality and demonstrating strong local demand for ballet.
