The Top 7 finalists of the popular TV competition Miss Trot 4 will perform a special two-show concert on Sept 5 at the Baekryeong Art Center on Kangwon National University’s Chuncheon campus. Hosted by the Kangwon Ilbo for its 81st anniversary, the concert celebrates hometown pride as winner I Sona (진, the grand champion) — a Chuncheon native — returns to perform with fellow finalists Heo Chan-mi, Hong Seong-yun, Yoon Tae-hwa, Gil Ryeo-won, Yoon Yoon-seo, and Yeom Yu-ri. The intimate art-hall setting allows closer interaction with fans and features a dramatic opening with the cast emerging from the second-floor seats, solo showcases of signature songs like I Sona’s “Ulkoneun Bakdaljae,” and exclusive on-site duet and unit stages not seen on TV. The show will close with a dance medley and the regional folk piece “Gangwon-do Arirang,” underscoring the event’s role as a hometown tribute and a community celebration.
