Accumulated Time, Blossoming Stories: Daegu Seo-gu Cultural Center Members' Exhibition

From September 3–12, the Seo-gu Cultural Center in Daegu will present “Accumulated Time, Blossoming Stories,” an exhibition showcasing about 120 works created by cultural class members. Displays include calligraphy (seoye), the four gracious plants painting tradition (sagunja), Western-style paintings, colored-pencil floral art, and French embroidery. On opening day there will be a small concert where students of the center will perform saxophone, harmonica, classical and popular songs, and acoustic guitar to celebrate their progress. The event is described by the center director as a chance to share members’ efforts and growth with the local community.
