Seoul transforms eight outdoor billboards and media platforms into a large-scale media art exhibition from next month 1–19 in collaboration with KIAF SEOUL and the Gwanghwamun Free Display Zone (광화문 자유표시구역). Five private billboards (KT Square, K-Vision, Lumi Media, Lux, Ilmin Art Museum) and three Seoul media platforms (Atelier Nodeul, Atelier Gwanghwa, Haechi Madang media wall) will simultaneously show works by four selected artists. Each piece is 30 seconds; the four are played in sequence for a two-minute loop every hour from 06:43–06:45 through midnight (Atelier Nodeul and Atelier Gwanghwa run 19:00–23:00 to match sunset). The city aims to bring media art into everyday urban life and promote it as K-culture and cultural tourism. Details available on Seoul’s culture portal and social media.
