Conference in Dangjin Marks 90 Years Since Author Sim Hun Wrote 'Sangnoksu'

A scholarly conference and public program will honor writer Sim Hun on September 12 at the Dangjin Literature Museum in Chungnam. Organized by the National Museum of Korean Literature, the event ties to a special exhibition “Walking Ninety Years of Sangnok’s Heart” and opens with academic presentations on Sim Hun’s life, literary legacy and cultural heritage, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. An afternoon opening ceremony will feature performances and a book concert (북 콘서트). The programs are open to the public; details are on the museum website.
