Korean plant-based protein company Garambyul has launched a new high-protein rice product called 'Danbaekmi'. Just one spoonful adds protein equivalent to 100g of chicken breast to cooked rice. Despite being essential for muscles, skin, and organs, protein consumption can often be insufficient in Korea's carbohydrate-heavy diet. Danbaekmi combines German pea protein, buckwheat, and germinated brown rice, offering 20g of plant protein per 35g serving. Developed with the consultation of a 40-year experienced medical specialist, it aims to cater to busy professionals, parents, and seniors who find it hard to consume meat. The founder's motivation stemmed from witnessing protein deficiency in Africa. The product promises a tasty and convenient protein boost for everyone.
