Visitor Numbers at Nodeul Island Surpass 1.5 Million in 2024

Nodeul Island, a cultural hub located in Seoul, welcomed over 1.5 million visitors last year, marking a 350,000 increase from the previous year. Managed by the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, the island hosted numerous events including the Seoul Circus Festival, Seoul Music Festival, and Seoul B-dance Festival. This year, diverse cultural initiatives will continue such as 'Nodeul Sunset Stage' showcasing modern Korean folk music (Korean traditional music) and 'Nodeul Indie Scene', featuring performances by promising indie musicians. Nodeul Gallery will host exhibitions spotlighting emerging artists. Renovations for visitor safety are also underway, such as new flooring and pathways.
