Gyeonggi Province sold 620 seized luxury items at a public auction to recover overdue local taxes, raising about ₩780 million. Held at KINTEX in Goyang, the 23rd auction saw a damaged C-grade Chanel Classic flap bag (gold hardware) listed at ₩450,000 fetch ₩11,010,000 — 2.4 times its auction price — while a silver-hardware C-grade Chanel sold for ₩7,860,000. A Chanel Coco Handle listed at ₩325,000 went for ₩5,480,000. Louis Vuitton items performed more modestly, with the highest LV bag at ₩2,450,000 and some LV pieces unsold. Three Hermès items were offered, the top selling Garden Party reached ₩3,870,000. Watches included a Hublot at ₩18,750,000 and a Cartier at ₩7,510,000.
