Louis Vuitton Hosts First 'Four Hands Dinner' Bringing Seoul and Shanghai Chefs Together

Louis Vuitton will hold its first 'Four Hands Dinner' in Seoul on Sept 10–11 to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Le Café Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul. Seoul chef Yoon Tae-kyun and Shanghai chef Leonardo Manetta will co-create a single multi-course menu that blends seasonal ingredients and signature dishes from both cities. The meal opens with a Monogram Taco Collection, followed by Seoul's seasonal King Crab Salad. A newly developed Porcini Dumpling combines Seoul’s signature beef dumpling (beef mandu) form with the mushroom filling used in Shanghai’s Monogram Jiaozi (dumpling). The main features a Shanghai-style Beef Wellington Treasure with black truffle. Desserts offer a choice between modern reinterpretations of Korean and Chinese traditional sweets: Gangnam Fleur and Shanghai Dream.
