Seoul Shilla Hotel will offer a special ‘Heritage Collection - Full Moon’ Chuseok package from Sept 24–26 at its historic Yeongbingwan (state guesthouse). The program pairs a welcome drink reception, an evening buffet of traditional Korean dishes (including yeosu octopus, galbi barbecue, abalone-steamed shrimp, ssambap) and desserts, with a crossover gugak (Korean traditional music) concert performed by the band Second Moon (Dubeonjjae Dal) and guest pansori singers on different nights. Second Moon, known for modern adaptations of pansori projects like Chunhyangga and Paldo Yuram, will blend pansori and contemporary band sounds. Six types of alcoholic beverages — champagne, wines, dessert wine, and makgeolli (traditional rice wine) among them — are paired with the meal. The package includes one-night accommodation, the dinner buffet, the crossover performance, admission to Urban Island, and one valet parking. The hotel emphasizes Yeongbingwan’s heritage role in hosting important domestic and international guests and aims to offer visitors an immersive Korean cultural experience during Chuseok (Korean harvest festival).
