In its second week, it dropped to second place, recording $14.2 million in ticket sales, marking a 66% decline from the first week. The film, with over $250 million in production costs, has faced criticism due to its casting choice, as the lead actress, Rachel Zegler, who is of Colombian descent, was seen as not fitting the traditional image of Snow White. Despite global earnings reaching $143.1 million, the movie struggles to recover production costs. Disney also faced similar challenges with 'The Little Mermaid.'
