Designer Hannah Shin’s label HANNAH SHIN will present an ‘AI Tech Couture Art Show’ on Sept 3 at Dongdaemun Design Plazza (DDP) Art Hall during 2027 S/S Seoul Fashion Week. The collection, titled “LIMINAL: Iridescent Mythology,” explores boundaries between reality and unreality, and between humans and technology, combining the brand’s craftsmanship and structural silhouettes with AI, 3D printing, and robotics. Collaborators include Stanford researchers, Silicon Valley AI engineers, 3D printing firm GLUCK (글룩), Hongik University industrial designers, and Ameca (아메카) humanoid robot from Engineered Arts. The show centers on “agentic AI” that perceives and responds to surroundings integrated into wearable fashion; specific technical implementations will be unveiled at the event. Building on previous robot-fashion fusions, HANNAH SHIN expands into AI-driven work, digital sculpting, and industrial design to deepen its identity as “tech couture.” The brand has been growing internationally—winning a European design audition, entering high-end local boutiques, and designing stage outfits for major K-pop artists—further linking fashion and K-culture. The event will host domestic and international artists, fashion professionals, and influencers.
