The 24th “Nim’s Silence” Calligraphy Competition exhibition opens next month in Inje, displaying 184 award-winning works—including the presidential Grand Prize—commemorating the 100th anniversary of Manhae Han Yong-un’s poetry collection 'Nim’s Silence'. Hosted by Inje County and the Manhae Festival Committee with support from the Culture Ministry, the show runs at Yecho Calligraphy Hall and the Korean Poetry Book Museum from the 12th to the 17th of next month, alongside the 2026 Manhae Festival. Featured pieces blend the lyricism of calligraphy with Inje’s lush mountain scenery; the Grand Prize went to Kim Yong-jae’s classical Chinese-script (hanmun) work “Autumn Dawn.” A preview exhibition presents 14 top-winning pieces before the main opening.
