Gangnam galleries are showcasing bold contemporary works by international artists. Tang Contemporary Art presents Andrea Galvani (Italy), exploring human-nature relations with installations including a stacked pottery tower made from an extinct apple and neon pieces (exhibition: Aug 29–Oct 10). White Cube shows dreamy landscapes by Marina Raingantz (Brazil), featuring new works from her São Paulo studio. Nearby Perrotin exhibits Mr. (Murakami Haruki)’s new paintings, works on paper and sculptures, linked to the Superflat movement (Sept 1–Oct 24). To mark the 25th SongEun Art Award, the SongEun Cultural Foundation displays 179 new pieces by past winners and finalists — each made on four 25×25 cm plywood panels — inviting comparison of varied approaches under identical conditions (on view until Oct 10).
