The poetry recitation concert, 'Poetry Cuts Through History,' took place on the 29th at Chuncheon Bomnae Theater (Bomnae Theatre is a venue name in Chuncheon, South Korea). The concert featured collaborations between poetry and piano music, creating a resonant synergy. Kim Jin-gyu, a poetry reciter, and Ahn Mugung-hwa, a pianist, performed works reflecting the historical journey of Korea. Poems by Shin Suk-jung, Ahn Do-hyun, Park Jung-dae, Do Jong-hwan, and Yun Dong-ju were recited alongside familiar classical music pieces by Chopin, Beethoven, and others. The event showcased the unique combination of passionate poetry recitation with classical music, introducing a fresh possibility for poetry recitation concerts. Despite minor inconsistencies in sound and rhythm, it opened new potential for the genre.
