Inditex’s ZARA CCO Raúl Estradera praised South Korea as a key market for spotting global trends and previewed the brand’s remodeled flagship store near Gangnam Station in Seoul. The expanded three-floor store (2,130㎡) features strengthened spaces and services, including a large installation called “Imugi” inspired by Korean mythology (imugi), created with local studio Our레이보, and an in-store café named Zacaffe to enhance visitor experience. Estradera said competition from domestic online platforms like Musinsa is viewed as a stimulus and left the door open to possible collaborations. ZARA also improved omni-channel links: the app now shows in-store stock and locations, and the store offers Korea’s first ZARA service to collect online orders via unmanned pickup within two hours. In Korea, ZARA will focus on renovating and upgrading existing stores and services rather than rapid expansion beyond its current 29 locations.
