The works of Korean abstract art master Kim Whan-Ki, known for his 'dot paintings,' will be showcased at a special exhibition in Gangneung's Solol Art Museum from April 2 to June 29. Held in a space designed by renowned architect Richard Meier, the exhibition will feature 100 artworks from Kim's 'New York era' where he focused on 'dot paintings' during his stay in New York from 1963 to 1974. This includes his early work '17-IV-71 #201' and his last piece '7-VII-74,' completed shortly before his passing. The exhibition aims to connect Korean and world art within a historic context.
