Chungcheongbuk-do (Chungbuk) and the Chungbuk Cultural Foundation have launched the "Yureka" series, tourism packages that blend local travel with Confucian cultural experiences. "Yureka in Chungju" offers programs in Gamga-myeon Hadam village and Mohyeonjeong where visitors can trek, taste traditional tea, watch performances, do lifelong painting, and read in settings linked to Joseon-era scholars and Dasan Jeong Yak-yong's ancestral site. Mohyeonjeong overlooks the Namhan River and Dumuso scenery. This program runs on four dates: Aug. 29, Sept. 26, Oct. 24 and 31. "Yureka in Cheongju" reinterprets the exchange culture between seowon (Confucian academies) and hyanggyo (local Confucian schools) through modern "hyangeumjure" (a ceremonial music-and-ritual tradition) experiences in a traditional market café, offering a "coffee omakase" and a ceremonial dining "juan-sang"; coffee omakase dates are Sept. 28, Oct. 6 and Oct. 12, while juan-sang dining runs three times between October and November.
