Korean Sneaker Brand HBD Launches in Korea via 29CM on Sept 1

Sneaker label HAPPY BIRDS DAY (HBD) will debut in South Korea on September 1 through online shop 29CM, launching nine models priced from KRW 99,000 to 149,000. Inspired by the low, thin silhouette of the German Trainer (저먼 트레이너 — a military training shoe later popularized in fashion by Martin Margiela), HBD modernizes materials and colors across styles. The lineup includes hybrids like the T007 “Bale” (a ballet-flat/sneaker mix), chunky-soled DAWN 180 Altura, 1980s running-inspired DAWN 80 Rapid, tennis-style BANGS 72 Ace, and double-lace T003 Eclair, with up to six colorways per model and sizes from 225–290mm (some women’s-only). Targeting women aged 18–35 for everyday wear, HBD’s launch offers 10% off and membership discounts on 29CM; broader online channels and offline retail are planned later. Domestic distribution is managed by CBCG Inc.
