Piaget’s One-of-a-Kind 'Aura' High-Jewelry Watch Debuts in Korea

Galleria Department Store in Seoul has unveiled Piaget’s exclusive Aura high-jewelry watch in Korea for the first time. The unique piece is set with 302 gemstones (52 rubies and 250 diamonds) totaling 60.52 carats and is priced around 3.1 billion KRW. The dial is pavé-set (a technique of closely setting small stones) with rubies to emphasize vivid red, while emerald-cut diamonds adorn the white gold case and strap. The watch houses an ultra-thin 2.1 mm 430P manual movement. Galleria is also exhibiting a Piaget “Exceptional Cuff” watch — with 474 diamonds totaling 45.48 carats — priced about 1.3 billion KRW. These pieces are part of the “Golden Prelude” fall jewelry and watch exhibition at the luxury hall through the 30th, featuring 20 brands and about 8 billion KRW worth of displays aimed at showcasing rare, high-end craftsmanship.
