Emerging sneaker label HAPPY BIRDS DAY (HBD) will launch in South Korea on September 1 via online retailer 29CM, unveiling nine slim, low-cut models priced around ₩99,000–149,000. Riding the "ballecore" and low-cut trend, HBD reinterprets the classic German Trainer (a 1970s German military training shoe popularized by designer Martin Margiela) with modern materials and colors. Key styles include the ballet-flat T007, chunky-soled DAWN 180 Altura, retro DAWN 80 Rapid, tennis-inspired BANGS 72 Ace, and double-lace T003 Eclair; sizes run 225–290mm (unisex, with some women-only options). Targeting city-dwelling 18–35-year-old women who combine daily life and light exercise, HBD chose 29CM for its trendy audience and will offer a 10% launch discount plus membership perks, with offline stores planned later. Domestic distribution and marketing are handled by CBCG Inc.
