This journey follows the author's trip through France, Italy and Czech Republic in a 14-night itinerary. After a short stay in Paris, they opted for a budget airline to Rome to save time but were faced with unexpected fees for not checking in via mobile in advance. This added significant costs, making the budget airline not so budget-friendly. Upon arrival in Rome, the author experienced further unforeseen expenses like high currency exchange fees at the airport. Despite these hiccups, exploring Rome's historic architecture like the Pantheon and Colosseum left a lasting impression.
