‘Camellia, Face of Time’ & ‘Knocking on the Vanished Door’

An exhibition showcasing works of artist Kang Jong-Yeol, titled ‘Camellia, Face of Time,’ is being held at Jeonnam Provincial Museum of Art until May 25. Kang, who spent his life in Yeosu, uses vibrant colors to explore Korea's natural and human relationships. His display touches on themes of historical wounds and hope, symbolized by camellias. Concurrently, a youth artist exhibition featuring Kay Yoon, Lee Chang-Hyun, and Jo Eun-Sol presents insights on memory, boundaries, and identity formation. Through the various works, visitors gain a profound view on art's significance, spanning generations and eras.
