The Chungbuk Provincial Theater Company is set to perform in Seoul with their play 'A Midsummer Night's Tempest'. This play, featuring a new interpretation of Shakespeare's works, combines 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'The Tempest', and shifts notable character Prospero to a female role named Prospera. This marks the theater's first performance in Seoul, spotlighting regional talent. The company's success is part of a broader initiative by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to support regional art groups and balance cultural development across the country.
