Farewell Mingu, Welcome Chunghoo: Banyan Tree to Host Gala Dinner

Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul will host a farewell gala dinner for Chef Kang Mingu, who has led the restaurant 'Festa by Mingu' for over 5 years, on December 6. Chef Kang, known for earning the restaurant the Michelin Selected status for three consecutive years, will depart due to the end of his contract. His successor will be Chef Lee Chunghoo, the owner and chef of 'Zero Complex' which earned a Michelin star in 2016. The gala dinner will feature both chefs working together, presenting seasonally inspired dishes and paying tribute to each other's culinary influence. The restaurant will be renamed 'Festa by Chunghoo' following the event and reopens on December 14.
