Sébastien Lepinoy, the head chef of the Michelin 3-star restaurant Les Amis in Singapore, has brought his expertise to Korea for a special gala dinner at Paradise City, Incheon. Known for achieving excellence in food, service, and wine, Les Amis continues to maintain its Michelin stars and Forbes 5-star rating, and has been recognized among the world's top 50 restaurants. Despite high prices of up to 600,000 KRW, tickets for the event sold out rapidly as diners seized the rare opportunity to experience authentic Parisian haute cuisine without traveling abroad. Chef Lepinoy, who is married to a Korean, expressed his affection for Korean food, and emphasized his meticulous selection of collaboration venues, choosing Paradise City for its luxurious setting. During the event, he offered signature dishes like sea bass with champagne sauce and Paris-style lobster salad, as well as a dessert of classic French chocolate tart. Known for orchestrating presidential banquets, Lepinoy aims to open a more accessible second restaurant. His advice to aspiring chefs emphasizes relentless effort, learning from failures, setting clear goals, and maintaining sound business practices.
