Two Literary Geniuses Who Documented the Lives of the People

The Chuncheon Cultural Foundation is hosting an exhibition titled "Documenting the Era: Kim You-jeong and Cha Sang-chan," focusing on two writers from Gangwon Province who recorded the shadows of the Japanese colonial period in Korea with humor and satire. The exhibition, marking the 88th anniversary of novelist Kim You-jeong, will showcase the writings and original works of both Kim and journalist Cha Sang-chan. Their literature and journalism provided valuable insights into the lives of oppressed people during that time. This is the first time these two historical figures, who both hailed from the same hometown, are being featured together in an exhibition.
