The Korea Food Industry Association, alongside the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA, is hosting 'Seoul Food To-Go in Mumbai' until the 28th. The event aims to establish a foothold for Korean foods in the Indian market, which is expected to become the world's third-largest consumer market by 2030. Collaborating with India's 'Food Square,' the event includes cooking shows, tasting sessions, and promotes various Korean products like ramen and Choco Pie. New exporters showcase items such as meal kits and rice noodles, and visitors can learn Korean recipes like kimchi and japchae. The recent Korean wave (Hallyu) in India has boosted interest in Korean culture and food. The association is supporting Korean companies with comprehensive services from export consulting to promotions and intellectual property education to enter the Indian market smoothly.
