Seoul-based retailer Emart is running a summer promotion on its app service 'Order to Home' (산지직송: direct-from-farm delivery) through July 15, offering up to 20% off seasonal fresh foods. Customers can order items like Daeseok plums (3 kg) and sweet corn ('chal' corn) at 20% discounts, and purchase nourishing items such as domestic freshwater eel (2 kg) at 10% off and pork shoulder for boiling at 20% off. Order to Home ships products directly from verified producers to improve freshness. Additional discounts apply for full payment with promotional cards. Since launching in April last year, the service’s monthly users have risen about 34% compared with last year’s early months. Emart is also expanding omni-channel features like 'Digital Grab' (in-store pickup for online orders) and 'Wine Grab', noting many pickup customers make extra in-store purchases, and plans to further strengthen its app-based services.
