Wontech, a South Korean aesthetic medical-device maker specializing in energy-based technologies (laser, RF, HIFU), plans to become a medical solutions company with KRW 1 trillion in sales by 2031. Chairman Kim Jong-won says the company is shifting from a technology-focused firm to a global brand by expanding overseas operations (Japan, US, Thailand, China), upgrading flagship RF lifting and HIFU products—launching a combined device in September—and broadening its portfolio into surgical lasers and cancer treatment devices. Wontech also secured KRW 75 billion in convertible bond investment from PACM PE/asset management to enter home-beauty and medical skincare markets, leveraging 27 years of clinical product development experience to emphasize safety, usability and “super-gap” technology.
