Shinsegae Department Store Launches 'Poovilla' Keyring Event Targeting Gen MZ

Shinsegae Department Store will hold a promotional event featuring its mascot 'Poovilla' from July 17–19. Customers who obtain an event pass via the Shinsegae app and play the on-site 'Poovilla Burumabl' game can receive a Poovilla plush keyring. Additional app missions from July 9–22 — such as daily check-ins and at least one offline purchase over 10,000 won — offer limited random-box prizes while supplies last. Prizes include fashion-item random boxes to customize the Poovilla doll (hat, tops, bottoms, bag, sunglasses) so users can create styles like campus look, denim classic, or black hipster. Each box also contains a 3,000-won discount coupon for F&B (food and beverage) purchases over 10,000 won. Shinsegae says the campaign encourages customers to engage with both the app and physical stores by collecting fashion items and keyrings.
