Super Mario Bubble Water-Gun Man Boosts Popularity of Cheorwon Dongsong Water Park

Cheorwon County’s Dongsong Samanancheon children’s water park, run by local residents, opened June 27 and runs through August 26, drawing families from northern Gangwon and Gyeonggi provinces. The park upgraded safety by hiring professional safety staff and added fun attractions like bubble shows, water-scoop (durebak) water-bomb features, slides, and a costumed “Super Mario” water-gun character to entertain kids. The facility is for children aged 24 months–13 years, open 10:00–17:30 and closed Mondays and Tuesdays for cleaning and checks. Special event sessions with magic shows, family water games, and bubble performances are scheduled on several July and August dates to create memorable experiences for visitors.
