Kangwon Land Hosts Hanbit Ensemble to Raise Disability Awareness

Kangwon Land invited the Hanbit Ensemble (a music group of visually impaired performers) to its headquarters on the 7th for a performance and education event titled “From Difference to Empathy.” Supported by the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, about 200 employees and local students attended. The program featured the ensemble’s chamber orchestra and DTL (Darkness to Light) band, interactive activities like tactile experience quizzes (구화체험) and an advance auditing consultation booth. Founded in 2003, the Hanbit Ensemble promotes respect, empathy and social inclusion through music. Kangwon Land’s audit committee emphasized that the event encouraged empathy and respect among staff and pledged continued efforts to promote social values and healthy workplace culture.
