Seoul’s Leeum and Hoam Museums will present major exhibitions this fall. Leeum opens Koo Jeong A: Usmos from Sept 5–Dec 27, a large-scale solo survey spanning the artist’s 30-year practice and featuring signature elements like glow-in-the-dark materials, a skate park, magnets and scent. The show continues a trilogy that began in Arles (France) and Bregenz (Austria) and includes newly made works such as “Mobius.” Concurrently Leeum mounts a project called “Museum After Tomorrow” (a vocabulary-format program) from Sept 1–Nov 29, developed with Seulgi & Min and the architecture firm Flora&Fauna to propose language for imagining futures amid climate and social change. Hoam presents Art Spectrum 2026 (Sept 1–Dec 27), co-curated with Palais de Tokyo, featuring 23 artists/teams from 10 Asian countries across visual art, architecture, film, design and music. The exhibition shifts Art Spectrum’s scope to a broader Asian context and stages diverse scenes—pavilion-like structures, skateboarding through an underground city, collapsing houses and the voices of forgotten artifacts—alongside performances, workshops, an art shop project and talks to explore institutional critique, space and cross-regional resonances.
