Korean beauty brand MISSHA (by Able C&C) reported a 3,199% year-on-year increase in first-quarter sales on the U.S. TikTok Shop. The company credits data-driven marketing and creator-focused content commerce for the growth, using real-time channel and product analytics and local creator collaborations to boost brand awareness. MISSHA showcased its heritage and products—highlighting its unique ‘onggi fermentation’ (traditional Korean earthenware fermentation) technique, PDRN·NAD+ skincare, and BB Cream PRO and PREP makeup lines—at a TikTok Shop K-Beauty event in Dallas that drew about 3,000 visitors and gained over 10,000 global TikTok followers. After becoming No.1 in Amazon’s U.S. BB cream category, MISSHA is expanding distribution across North America (including Ulta Beauty online, Costco in U.S./Canada/Taiwan, and Olive Young U.S. stores) and advancing into Europe via Superdrug and Boots. The brand plans to keep strengthening digital commerce and omnichannel retail.
