Korea Tourism Organization Partners to Boost Incheon Old Downtown Tourism

Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Gyeongin branch signed a three-party cooperation agreement with Incheon Tourism Organization and Inha Technical College to revitalize Incheon’s old downtown (won-dongshim) tourism, centered on the historic Jemulpo area, including Gaehangjang Street and Chinatown. The partners will jointly develop and promote tourism projects and content, support a university student tourism supporter program, and train local tourism professionals. They will also run a local tourism forum to strengthen collaboration. KTO notes the Gaehangjang cultural district is listed among the 2025–2026 Korea Top 100 Tourist Sites and aims to make Jemulpo a key regional tourism hub.
