Modetour will hold its first large-scale overseas park golf tournament from Nov 3–7 at Nanshan International Park Golf Course in Yantai, Shandong, China. The 4-night, 5-day package invites 300 participants (first-come, first-served) from clubs and the public, combining tournament play with practice rounds, sightseeing, and local food experiences. Participants will travel by international ferry (a 15–17 hour crossing from Incheon) which helps transport park golf equipment. The Nanshan facility features 63 holes across A–G courses and is suited for beginners to advanced players. The event includes about 50 million KRW worth of prizes and gifts, cash awards for top finishers, special prizes (hole-in-one, best-dresser, longevity award), and a souvenir park golf kit valued around 100,000 KRW for each participant. Modetour said the event capitalizes on growing park golf popularity—especially among older adults—and plans to expand sports-travel themed packages. (Note: park golf is a low-barrier, light-equipment variant of golf.)
