Experience Baekje: 2026 Baekje Cultural Heritage Week Begins July 6

South Korea’s National Gongju Museum and eight partner organizations will host the 2026 Baekje Cultural Heritage Week from July 6–12 across Gongju, Buyeo, and Iksan. Launched in 2018 to celebrate the Baekje Historic Areas’ UNESCO World Heritage status, the week offers education and exhibition programs including a nighttime heritage and fusion classical concert “Baekje Cultural Heritage Nocturne” (Aug 8), curator-led themed tours (July 7–10), a heritage quiz-walk “You Quiz: Observe & Think” (July 7–12), and a hands-on activity “Color the Jinmyosu” (July 10–12). An exhibition, “Baekje Historic Areas as LEGO,” opens July 7 in the Chungcheongnam-do history and culture gallery.
