Jeju Air and Jeju SK Team Up for Beach Plogging to Protect Jeju Sea

Jeju Air partnered with professional soccer club Jeju SK FC on April 2 for a plogging (picking up litter while jogging) cleanup at Nonjitmul Beach in Seogwipo, collecting over 15 large bags of marine debris. About 50 participants, including Jeju Air’s cabin-focused team “Ecomer” (a crew volunteer group) and Jeju SK players and coaches, joined the effort. Jeju Air has run coastal environmental volunteer programs since 2018 and formed Ecomer in 2021 to conduct regular cleanups in Jeju, Busan and other coastal areas. Last month the airline also provided on-site aviation safety education for Jeju SK youth players. Since signing a partnership in 2024, the two organizations have continued sports marketing and community cooperation, committing to ongoing environmental protection and safety-culture activities as part of their ESG efforts.
