'One Piece: Great Pirate Era' Immersive Exhibit Opens in Jeju Waterworld

From July 4 to January 3, 2027, the 'One Piece: Great Pirate Era Asia Tour' transformed the closed Jeju Waterworld in Seogwipo into an immersive, water-filled exhibition. Rather than displaying figures or original art on walls, the show uses large character sculptures, media art, and actual water channels on the floor so visitors physically walk through key scenes and story beats. A guided map directs visitors in sequence; explanatory plaques help both fans and newcomers follow the narrative. Photo zones—such as a recreated Wano Country street and Straw Hat Pirates installations—proved popular with families and children, who enjoyed both the visuals and the water-play elements. The show debuts a new 'Elbaf' theme and is presented as a Korea special edition combining Dotmill’s water-media technology with an Asia tour program. Organizers framed the project as repurposing an unused indoor waterpark into a cultural space that blends technology, art, and a global IP, with plans for more experiential content in the future.
