Pharmaresearch’s premium derma-cosmetic brand Rejuran is expanding in the U.S., driven by strong sales through Sephora and Amazon. To stabilize supply and speed market response, Pharmaresearch has acquired U.S. manufacturer Cosmetic Group USA (CG USA) to establish local production in California. Rejuran products use DOT c-PDRN, a core ingredient derived from salmon DNA refined by the company’s DOT (DNA Optimizing Technology) to enhance skin absorption, hydration, calming and elasticity. The ingredient originates from Rejuran skin booster treatments (a popular procedure in Korea), which gained global attention after celebrities referenced their experiences. While the Rejuran procedure lacks FDA approval, Rejuran cosmetics have seen rapid U.S. growth—Amazon sales rose over 700% year-on-year—and exported cosmetics now make up a larger share of sales. CG USA offers end-to-end manufacturing with FDA-registered facilities and cGMP-compliant quality systems, enabling OTC production. Pharmaresearch plans to start with locally producing high-demand items like ampoules and creams, consider U.S.-made sunscreens (noting sunscreen is classified as OTC in the U.S.), and expand into Canada and Latin America. The acquisition aims to reduce lead times, improve inventory and logistics, and strengthen cost competitiveness and North American market presence.
