Busan’s Yeongdo District will hold the '2026 Kkangkkangi All-Day Festa' on the 11th from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM around Daeppyeong-dong’s Kkangkkangi Village. The alley festival celebrates the area’s ship-repairing past and artistic revival with cultural performances, bubble and magic shows, a seaside jazz concert, and Nanta and b-boy performances inspired by 'Kkangkkangi Ajuma' (a local character motif). A street food zone recreates the industrial-era vibe using drum barrels and pallets. Kkangkkangi Village is an arts neighborhood built by merging culture and art into Yeongdo’s historic modern shipbuilding and repair district; the term 'kkangkkangi' comes from the hammer sounds made during ship repairs.
